The Curtain Call Mixes, which will include a hand-selected compendium of curtain call cues from Broadway, Off-Broadway and Regional theatrical productions. “The Curtain Call Mixes” will be released by Silent Voice Publishing on Monday, May 3 and will be available for streaming and download everywhere.
Excited for the upcoming release of my album of some of the Curtain Call cues I’ve written for Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Regional productions. I’m ready for live theater to start so we can applaud in person- but until then, get ready to clap along with these tracks!

Happy to share a recording by uber talented Alice Ripley and Brad Simmons of my song “Carry Me Away”. I wrote this a few years ago when on a retreat with the Montello Foundation- all alone in the Nevada desert. It’s about longing for something new after reaching a certain age…according to a friend of mine, of course.
Excited to share this new release-written during lockdown - my “COVID” song- sung by my dear friend, the amazing Susanna Phillips. All the tracks were recorded remotely in the musicians’ home studios.
This song is about the hope we all have to return to life as we once knew it.

“You gotta hold on, don’t let go- in the morning when the lights are low!” For all of us who wake up in the middle of the night, wondering when things will start getting better, this is for you!
The legendary Jennifer Holliday recorded this song back in 2002 (and then I did a different version for “Lysistrata Jones” several years later but we used this track as a “Bonus” on the cast album). The amazing background vocals on this track were arranged by Biti Strauchn
One of the many horrific parts of Wednesday, 1/6/21, was witnessing those domestic terrorists parading around with the American flag, as if they owned it. We need to take back our national symbol from these thugs. I wrote this arrangement of “The Star Spangled Banner” several years ago as a way to reimagine the traditional national anthem so it embraces the country’s current diversity of cultures and conflicts that are all trying to unite under it. We need to redefine what our flag symbolizes!
